Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC in Greer, SC is seeking a contract Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture and specimen handling from Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. The role spans about 3 months with potential for permanent placement. Benefits are available.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifugation, data recording, and ensuring proper transport and storage per protocol. Prior phlebotomy experience and state certification are required.

Qualifications

1+ years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test orders.
Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage temperatures.
Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations; attend annual trainings.
Answer calls and read laboratory results to satisfy inquiries.
