Job summary

HJ Staffing is seeking a registered Pharmacy Technician for a contract role at Austin Hospital. You will help keep medications organized, accurate, and moving to patients who need them, under Texas State Board of Pharmacy guidelines.

The role involves inventory management, preparing meds for pharmacist checks, and delivering to patient care areas, with strict adherence to all regulatory and facility policies. No 12-hour shifts; schedule Mon-Fri with two possible morning shifts.

Qualifications

• Active Texas State Board of Pharmacy registration required.
• Experience in pharmaceutical assistance work.
• Maintain current TSBP license at all times.

Responsibilities

• Manage pharmacy inventory and ensure stock accuracy.
• Prepare medications for pharmacist's final check.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas.
• Conduct medication area inspections.
• Provide technical assistance, clerical duties, and support to the team.
• Guide others as needed while maintaining professional standards.
• Comply with TSBB, HHSC, facility policies and procedures.
