Candidates must have Texas State Board registration, 2+ years of experience, and be available for the full contract period including 9 days of training. Pay is $30/hour, with Monday–Friday schedules typical.

Qualifications

• Current Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Ability to pass urine drug screen and background checks ( FBI fingerprint clearances ).

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain medication inventory.
• Prepare medications for pharmacist verification.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas.
• Conduct medication room inspections.
• Assist with manual and automated medication repackaging.
• Provide technical support to pharmacy staff.
• Perform pharmacy-related clerical duties.
• Assist with medication distribution and inventory processes.
• Provide guidance to other staff as needed.
• Follow all hospital, HHSC, and Texas State Board of Pharmacy policies and standards; exercise appropriate initiative within the board's scope.
