• Experience with Pyxis MedStation preferred.
• Experience with medication room inspections and auto/manual repackaging preferred.
• Must pass urine drug screen and background check; FBI fingerprint check.
• Compliance must be completed before starting.

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Austin, TX! The Pharmacy Technician will be working for a respected healthcare organization and has career growth potential. See additional details below.

Pharmacy Technician Highlights

• Location: Austin, TX 78751
• Pay for this position: $26.00/hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm or 8:30am–5:30pm (No 12-hour shifts)
• Training requirement: Must be available for 9 consecutive training days (Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm) prior to being submitted
• Position type: Temporary (W2), 40 hours/week
• Contract length: Minimum 3-month contract (assignment currently scheduled through January 16, 2027)
• Interview required: Yes

Responsibilities

• Support inventory management within the pharmacy
• Prepare medications for pharmacist final check
• Deliver medications to patient care areas
• Conduct medication area inspections
• Provide technical support and perform clerical/administrative duties
• Work with initiative and judgment while following facility policies and Texas State Board of Pharmacy guidelines

Requirements

• Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
• Pharmacy/medication assistance experience (preferred)
• Experience with Pyxis MedStation (preferred)
• Experience with medication room inspections and manual/automated repackaging (preferred)
• Must have valid photo ID
• Must have negative PPD within the last 12 months
• Must pass urine drug screen + background check
• Must pass FBI fingerprint background check
• Compliance must be completed before starting (no exceptions)
