Our client, a leading women's contemporary fashion brand, is seeking experienced Patternmakers for immediate contract opportunities. These roles will support the product development team in creating and refining patterns for women's apparel categories.

About the Role

We are currently hiring for the following areas:

• Wovens & Cut-and-Sew: Dresses, Tops, and Skirts
• Wovens & Cut-and-Sew: Jackets, Pants, and Outerwear

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain patterns for assigned product categories
• Interpret design sketches and technical specifications into production-ready patterns
• Develop first patterns through draping, flat patterning, or existing blocks
• Make pattern corrections based on fit comments and development needs
• Collaborate closely with Technical Design, Product Development, and Design teams
• Ensure patterns meet fit, quality, and construction standards
• Support sample development and troubleshoot garment construction issues as needed
• Maintain accurate pattern documentation and production notes

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Patternmaker within women's contemporary, designer, or luxury apparel
• Strong expertise in woven and cut-and-sew garment construction
• Recent hands-on experience with Gerber is required
• Advanced knowledge of pattern drafting, draping, grading, and garment fit
• Ability to work in a fast-paced product development environment
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Pay range and compensation package
