Job summary

Electrify America, LLC is seeking an Operations Analyst to support the Commercial team by managing Salesforce data, reporting processes, Tableau dashboards, and recurring business analytics. You will create, maintain, and analyze reports that provide visibility into operational and commercial metrics and translate complex data into clear insights for managers and cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

Short Description

This is a remote position in the United States. Candidate must reside in the Eastern Time Zone.

Please note that this is a long‑term W2 contract position.

Brief Role Description

The Operations Analyst will support the Electrify Commercial team by managing Salesforce data, reporting processes, Tableau dashboards, and recurring business analytics. This role is responsible for creating, maintaining, and analyzing reports that provide visibility into key operational and commercial metrics, identify trends, support data‑driven decisions, and improve overall process effectiveness. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience working with CRM data, and the ability to translate complex information into clear insights for managers and cross‑functional stakeholders.

The Operations Analyst will also be responsible for Salesforce reporting support and Salesforce update coordination, including gathering business requirements, validating data accuracy, monitoring reporting outputs, managing Jira tickets needed for Salesforce updates, and partnering with internal stakeholders to support enhancements, fixes, and process improvements.

The successful candidate will assist with updating internal documentation and processes, create recurring and ad hoc reports, maintain dashboard accuracy, and provide analytical summaries that help the Commercial team understand performance, risks, opportunities, and operational priorities.

Possible Tasks within this Role

Salesforce, Reporting, and Data Analytics – 45% of time spent

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze Salesforce reports to support commercial operations, account management, customer activity, and leadership visibility.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into Salesforce, Tableau, advanced Excel, or other reporting solutions.
  • Monitor data integrity and accuracy within Salesforce and reporting tools; identify discrepancies, root causes, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Create recurring and ad hoc analytical reports that summarize trends, risks, opportunities, and operational performance.
  • Use advanced Excel techniques to organize large data sets, reconcile reporting outputs, perform detailed analysis, and prepare clear summaries for business stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation for Salesforce processes, reporting logic, dashboard definitions, and data governance expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to track system enhancement requests, Jira tickets, reporting issues, and development progress.
  • Prepare clear, data‑driven presentations and updates for management and cross‑functional stakeholders.

Tableau Dashboard Management – 25% of time

  • Maintain and validate Tableau dashboards used by the Commercial team to monitor key business metrics and operational performance.
  • Review dashboard outputs for accuracy, usability, and alignment with business needs.
  • Analyze dashboard trends and provide concise summaries to help stakeholders understand performance drivers and areas requiring attention.
  • Coordinate with data, technology, and business teams to troubleshoot dashboard issues and support enhancements.
  • Document dashboard logic, definitions, and reporting assumptions to support consistency and transparency.

Operational Reporting and Business Insights – 20% of time

  • Create and distribute recurring operational reports for Commercial leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to answer business questions, investigate trends, and support decision‑making.
  • Develop clear report summaries that highlight key takeaways, risks, opportunities, and recommended next steps.
  • Partner with stakeholders to continuously improve report format, cadence, accuracy, and usability.

Training, Documentation, and Process Improvement – 10% of time

  • Assist in the development, documentation, and storage of guides, reporting procedures, and process materials for the Commercial team.
  • Support creation and maintenance of onboarding material related to Salesforce, dashboards, reporting tools, and data processes.
  • Recommend improvements to reporting workflows, data collection methods, and process documentation.
Qualification requirements

Years of Relevant Experience:

3+ years of relevant experience in Salesforce administration or business support, reporting, data analytics, dashboard management, or sales operations analytics

3+ years of experience creating, analyzing, and presenting operational or commercial reports using CRM data, Tableau dashboards, advanced Microsoft Excel, or similar reporting tools

Education - Required:

Bachelor's Degree

  • Strong experience developing, maintaining, and analyzing reports and dashboards to support operational decision‑making

Specialized Skills - Required:

  • Hands‑on experience using Salesforce to manage data, support users, create reports, monitor data quality, and document system requirement
  • Strong experience building, maintaining, and analyzing Tableau dashboards or similar business intelligence dashboards
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to create recurring reports, ad hoc analyses, KPI summaries, and executive‑ready insights
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data validation, complex formulas, pivot tables, lookup functions, data modeling, report automation, and preparation of executive‑ready analysis
  • Demonstrated record of precision, integrity, and data accuracy in past work assignments
  • Ability to gather reporting requirements from stakeholders and translate them into practical Salesforce, Tableau, or Excel‑based reporting solutions
  • Experience identifying data gaps, process issues, and reporting inconsistencies, then recommending improvements
  • Extremely deadline and deliverable oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
  • Experience creating, managing, and tracking Jira tickets for Salesforce updates, system enhancements, bug fixes, and reporting improvements
  • Experience in industries including sustainability, cleantech, renewable energy, business services

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000.
