Sunbrella's marketing creative team is recruiting a Contract Multimedia Designer. This role focuses on editing and producing content for campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling across digital channels, while upholding Sunbrella's elevated visual standards.

The candidate combines strong editing, pacing, motion, typography, and platform-specific storytelling to create work that feels distinctive and on-brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in photography, new media or visual arts.
• 5–10 years of professional video editing/motion design experience in brand, agency, or content studio.
• Strong eye for aesthetics and detail with a portfolio of high‑quality visual content.
• Experience creating content for organic and paid social, not just long‑form video.
• Ability to craft compelling stories from varied source material (footage, interviews, photos, archives).
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Interpret briefs and align with Creative Director, Art Director, and Marketing Manager.
• Translate concepts and footage into distinctive video ideas.
• Build polished edits using footage, photography, animation, typography, music, and VFX to create a Sunbrella point of view.
• Transform existing assets into fresh, platform‑specific stories.
• Edit a range of video formats for social, product stories, interviews, events, and paid social.
• Collaborate with design, copy, brand, social, and marketing teams from concept to delivery.
• Deliver platform-ready files with correct aspect ratios, duration, and color.
