Job summary

Glen Raven's Sunbrella marketing team seeks a Contract Multimedia Designer to edit and produce video, motion, and visual storytelling for campaigns, product launches, and digital channels. Lead editor with strong storytelling, typography, and platform-specific pacing, collaborating with Creative Director, Art Director, and marketing partners.

This 1099 contract role is roughly 20–25 hours per week, with responsibilities spanning video editing, graphic design, and broader multimedia initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in visual arts or related field.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in video editing, motion design, or multimedia production.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating editorial storytelling across video, motion, and graphic design.
• Experience creating content for organic and paid social platforms.

Responsibilities

• Interpret briefs and align with Creative Director, Art Director, and Marketing.
• Transform raw footage into distinctive video concepts for campaigns and product stories.
• Build polished edits using video, photography, graphics, sound, and motion.
• Identify opportunities to refresh archival assets into channel-specific stories.
• Edit a range of formats: social series, product stories, interviews, event recaps, paid social.
• Collaborate with design, copy, brand, social, and marketing teams from concept to delivery.
• Deliver platform-ready files with correct aspect ratios, durations, and color/caption specs.
• Contribute to graphic design, photo editing, and other multimedia needs.
