Job summary

Glen Raven's Sunbrella brand seeks a Contract Multimedia Designer to bring video, motion, and visual storytelling to life across digital campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling.

This 1099, part-time role (roughly 20–25 hours per week) focuses on editing and producing platform-ready content while collaborating with marketing partners and designers to uphold Sunbrella's elevated standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in photography, new media or related visual arts preferred.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in video editing and motion design.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality visual content for digital platforms.
• Experience developing content for organic and paid social channels.

Responsibilities

• Interpret creative briefs with Creative Director, Art Director and Marketing Manager.
• Translate campaign concepts and raw footage into distinctive video ideas.
• Build polished edits using footage, photography, animation, typography, music, sound design, and VFX.
• Identify opportunities to transform existing content into fresh, channel-specific stories.
• Edit a range of video formats including social series, product stories, interviews, and event recaps.
• Partner with design, copy, brand, social, and marketing teams from concept through delivery.
• Prepare platform-ready files with correct aspect ratio, duration, resolution, captions, audio, color and file specs.
• Contribute to graphic design, photography editing, retouching, and other multimedia needs.
• Maintain brand consistency while testing new storytelling approaches.
• Interpret and apply brand books and guidelines faithfully.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in photography, new media or related visual arts

5–10 years of professional video editing and motion design

Strong portfolio in graphic design, video, and multimedia storytelling
