Job summary

Leoforce seeks a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to support existing power rack designs across multiple hardware platforms, focusing on maintaining and updating current mechanical designs, drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, is proficient with Arena PLM/PDM, and can manage changes through revision control while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The assignment lasts about five months to cover a maternity leave.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience supporting mechanical designs for complex hardware products or systems.
• Strong experience creating and revising mechanical drawings.
• Experience maintaining BOMs and engineering documentation.
• Hands-on experience with engineering change control and revision management.
• Experience working within Arena PLM/PDM; Arena experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support existing power rack designs across multiple hardware platforms.
• Make updates and revisions to existing mechanical designs.
• Create, revise, and maintain mechanical drawings and related engineering documentation.
• Maintain and update top-level assembly (TLA) BOMs.
• Process engineering changes and maintain accurate revision control.
• Manage design and documentation updates within Arena/PDM.
• Ensure drawings, BOMs, and product documentation remain accurate and consistent.
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to implement changes.
• Support documentation and knowledge transfer during transition periods at the assignment start and end.
