Leoforce seeks a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to support existing power rack designs across multiple hardware platforms, focusing on maintaining and updating current mechanical designs, drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, is proficient with Arena PLM/PDM, and can manage changes through revision control while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The assignment lasts about five months to cover a maternity leave.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting mechanical designs for complex hardware products or systems.
• Strong experience creating and revising mechanical drawings.
• Experience maintaining BOMs and engineering documentation.
• Hands-on experience with engineering change control and revision management.
• Experience working within Arena PLM/PDM; Arena experience is highly preferred.

• Professional experience supporting mechanical designs for complex hardware products or systems
• Strong experience creating and revising mechanical drawings
• Experience maintaining BOMs and engineering documentation
• Hands-on experience with engineering change control and revision management
• Experience working within a PDM/PLM system; Arena experience is highly preferred
• Ability to understand and modify existing mechanical designs rather than focusing solely on new concept development
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate engineering documentation
• Ability to quickly become productive within an established engineering environment

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting racks, enclosures, power systems, servers, data center equipment, or other complex electromechanical hardware
• Experience with top-level assemblies and multi-platform hardware products
• Previous experience with Arena PLM/PDM
• Experience supporting sustaining engineering or product lifecycle activities
• Comfortable working on a short-term contract assignment and taking ownership of established engineering work

A bit about us

We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to support existing power rack designs across multiple hardware platforms. This position will focus primarily on maintaining and updating current mechanical designs, drawings, top-level assembly (TLA) BOMs, and engineering documentation. This is not a concept or new product design role. The ideal candidate will be comfortable stepping into an established hardware environment, making design updates, maintaining accurate engineering documentation, and managing changes through Arena/PDM. The assignment is expected to last approximately five months to cover a maternity leave.
