Job summary

Dematic Corp. in Fairburn, Georgia seeks an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 to perform day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on MHE, AGVs, AMRs, shuttles, and conveyors.

You will support operational fault resolution and material handling systems within a modern distribution environment. The role requires 2-3 years of electro-mechanical experience, a high school diploma, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; evening and night shifts are included with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; associate degree advantageous.
• 2-3 years of experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment.
• Proven experience in the area of responsibility.
• Ability to lift and move material up to 50 pounds.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching.
• Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies up to 100 pounds.
• Climb ladders and gangways safely.
• Work in diverse conditions (dust, noise, temperatures).
• Stand/walk up to 10–12 hours.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google G-Suite.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain MHE including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and lubrication.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines and documentation.
• Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.
• Build and close work orders in asset management system with detailed data.
• Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and determine resources needed.
• Locate and supervise spare parts from inventory.
• Perform routine maintenance and equipment testing to meet specs.
• Respond to service calls and address equipment faults.
• Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps.
• Develop and maintain positive cross-functional relationships.
