Job summary

FullShift Staffing, LLC seeks a licensed LPN in California to provide nursing care within scope and maintain standards of practice. The role involves medication administration, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and care teams in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications include current LPN license in the state, and 1 year of nursing management experience preferred. Experience with Point Click Care is a plus and prior long-term care exposure is valued.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN in the state.
• One-year nursing management experience preferred but not required.
• Long-term care experience.
• Point Click Care charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Infection Control Manual.
• Understands, participates and assists in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Notifies other Departments of patient changes, i.e., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge, etc.
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Demonstrates the ability to administer medications timely and according to facility policy.
• Demonstrates the ability to administer treatments timely and according to facility policy.
• Demonstrates ability to receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders, if allowed by Nurse Practice Act
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
