FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking an LVN Nurse Manager in California to oversee nursing care within scope of practice and ensure standards are met across facility policies. You will implement quality improvement initiatives and coordinate patient care with physicians and departments.

The role requires California LVN licensure, LTC experience, and PCC charting proficiency, with preference for prior management experience. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Must hold LVN license in California
• One year of nursing management experience preferred
• Long term care experience required
• Experience with Point Click Care charting preferred
• Compact license acceptable if working in a compact state

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care within scope of practice per standards and physician orders
• Participate in Quality Improvement Program and Infection Control procedures
• Utilize policies to identify, place, and monitor patients in programs
• Notify departments of patient status changes (room changes, admissions, discharges)
• Educate patients and families about care plans
• Administer medications timely and per facility policy
• Administer treatments per facility policy
• Receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders where allowed
• Make rounds with physicians as needed
