Job summary

FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking a licensed LVN in California for a nursing management role in a long-term care setting. You will ensure patient care aligns with standards, physician orders, and facility policies while participating in quality improvement and infection control initiatives.

The role requires prior long-term care experience, California LVN licensure (compact license acceptable for other states), and familiarity with PointClickCare charting.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed LVN in California.
• Compact license acceptable for non-CA assignments.
• One year nursing management experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience required.
• Experience with PointClickCare charting.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Infection Control Manual.
• Participates in and assists with the Quality Improvement Program.
• Uses the Quality Life Manual for patient placement and monitoring.
• Notifies departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, admissions, discharge).
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications timely per facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely per facility policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders per Nurse Practice Act.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
