FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking a licensed vocational nurse with leadership experience to oversee nursing operations in a long-term care setting in California. The role requires managing patient care within scope, supervising staff, and ensuring adherence to physician orders and center policies.

Ideal candidates hold an active California LVN license, have 1+ year of nursing management experience, and possess experience with PointClickCare charting.

Qualifications

• Active California LVN license.
• Compact license acceptable if state allows.
• Minimum 1 year nursing management experience.
• Experience in Long Term Care.
• Point Click Care charting experience.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Company Infection Control Manual.
• Understands, participates and assists in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Notifies other Departments of patient changes, i.e., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge, etc.
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Demonstrates the ability to administer medications timely and according to facility policy.
• Demonstrates the ability to administer treatments timely and according to facility policy.
• Demonstrates ability to receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders, if allowed by Nurse Practice Act
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
