Job summary

FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking an LVN Nurse Manager in California to oversee nursing care within scope of practice, ensuring patient needs are met in line with standards and physician orders. The role involves medication administration, patient teaching, and coordination with physicians during rounds.

The ideal candidate holds an active California LVN license, prefers at least one year in nursing management and long-term care, and has experience with PointClickCare charting.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed LVN in California.
• One year prior nursing management experience preferred.
• Long term care experience.
• Point Click Care charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Company Infection Control Manual.
• Understands, participates and assists in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Notifies other Departments of patient changes, e.g., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge, etc.
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Demonstrates the ability to administer medications timely and according to facility policy.
• Demonstrates the ability to administer treatments timely and according to facility policy.
• Demonstrates ability to receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders, if allowed by Nurse Practice Act
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
