Harbor Lights, a premier marina, golf, and event venue in Warwick, RI, seeks an experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee culinary operations in our dining and event spaces. This seasonal role is ideal for a dynamic individual who excels in a fast-paced hospitality environment and values delivering top-quality food and service.

About Harbor Lights

Nestled along Warwick Neck, Harbor Lights offers marina services, a golf course, and an event venue for weddings, private parties, and corporate events. Our culinary team is essential in creating exceptional guest experiences, whether through casual dining, celebrations, or catered events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maximize efficiency and reduce waste
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including sanitation and ServSafe regulations
  • Train, lead, and motivate kitchen staff to foster a collaborative, high-performing team
  • Collaborate with management on menu development and seasonal offerings
  • Oversee food preparation for both the restaurant and catered events, ensuring seamless service

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Executive Chef, or similar leadership role
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and cost control
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Contract Details:

  • Location: Harbor Lights, Warwick, RI
  • Term: 6 months
  • Compensation: $5,000 - $6,000 per month
