Job summary

Omniplex World Services Corporation is seeking Contract Investigators to perform background investigations on an as-needed basis, primarily within the Honolulu area and surrounding regions. You will conduct interviews, gather information, and prepare professional reports in accordance with agency guidelines.

Local travel is required, and candidates must be able to work independently from a home office setting. Requirements include U.S.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of federal background investigative experience in the last 5 years.
• Some FIS experience required.
• Current SSBI or active Secret clearance desired.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person, one-on-one interviews to obtain facts about background and character per guidelines.
• Obtain information from various sources to produce a comprehensive background report.
• Travel within a 35–50 mile radius as cases are assigned to locations.
• Willingness to travel for temporary duty assignments by car or plane.
• Communicate with managers and government agencies to maintain relationships.
