Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a Contract Internal Communications Specialist to support day-to-day internal messaging and events during a 6-month assignment in Devens, MA. You will draft communications, manage channels, and coordinate with Safety, IT, Facilities, and People Ops to ensure brand-consistent messaging.

The role requires hands-on support for All-Hands meetings, on-site events, and recognition programs, with a focus on clear, timely communication and calendar management.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in internal or corporate communications.
• Experience in employee engagement or marketing ops.
• Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and publish concise internal messages (emails, Slack, Confluence, signage).
• Coordinate content submissions with cross-functional teams (Safety, Facilities, IT, People Ops).
• Format and refine slide decks for branding and standards.
• Plan All-Hands meetings logistics, schedules, and Q&A tools.
• Support on-site events at Devens and draft post-meeting recaps.
• Administer recognition programs and keep editorial calendar.
