Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems seeks a Contract Internal Communications Specialist to support day-to-day internal communications for a six-month term at our Devens, MA campus. You’ll draft messages, manage channels, and help run company meetings with cross-functional teams under the Head of Internal Communications.

You’ll craft clear, brand-aligned content for emails, Slack, Confluence, and signage, coordinate submissions, and refine slide decks to meet branding standards while supporting All-Hands

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in internal/corporate communications or marketing operations.
• Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
• Ability to turn raw information into clear employee communications.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and publish concise internal messages across channels (emails, Slack, Confluence, digital signage).
• Coordinate internal communications submissions with cross-functional teams.
• Support slide deck organization and branding for presentations.
• Coordinate All-Hands logistics, schedules, and Q&A tools.
• Support on-site event setup and post-meeting recap emails.
• Manage internal editorial calendar and targeted campaign rollouts.
• Collaborate with Head of Internal Communications and cross-functional partners.
