Luna Community College is seeking an instructor to deliver a 46–50-hour entry‑level micro‑credential course focused on foundational wind technician skills. This micro‑credential course was developed by the Clean Power Institute, in partnership with Pattern Energy, to make pathways for wind technician jobs more accessible to New Mexicans. It teaches students about site safety, pre‑work planning, inspection and cleaning, lubrication and filter swaps, torque and tensioning, and a capstone assessment. Curriculum and supporting instructional materials have been developed and will be provided to the instructor.
The course will be offered in‑person at LCC in Summer 2026. Course scheduling is flexible and may be delivered over weekends or consecutive days/weeks, depending on instructor availability and learner needs. Travel expenses will be reimbursed. Applicants do not need to be based in New Mexico.
This position is contract‑based.
