Job summary

FastTek Global in Troy, Michigan, is seeking an experienced Instructional Design Specialist for a 3-to-4-month contract to design, develop, and deploy engaging digital learning solutions through the Workday LMS. You will partner with SMEs and HR to transform business knowledge into high-quality online content and a scalable internal certification program.

The role requires strong project management, adult-learning expertise, SCORM-compliant modules, and video content production, with delivery

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing eLearning content using instructional design methodologies.
• Experience creating SCORM-compliant learning content for LMS.
• Experience producing and editing video and audio learning content.
• Strong written communication skills with attention to detail, grammar, and visuals.
• Knowledge of adult learning theory and best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement online learning experiences using adult learning methodologies.
• Build internal certification programs with structured paths and credentials.
• Partner with SMEs to capture processes and convert content for training.
• Develop Just-in-Time resources including SCORM modules and videos.
• Manage a portfolio of learning projects across multiple functions.
• Coordinate meetings, reviews, approvals, and publication schedules.
• Produce content compatible with Workday Learning and maintain branding standards.
• Maintain project documentation and version control throughout content lifecycle.
