Job summary

Hoskinson Family Office is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a 3–6 month contract to support our HR function during a period of active change. You will work closely with the Head of Human Resources to keep day-to-day HR operations running smoothly while contributing to priority projects, including our ADP HRIS revamp, improvements to the onboarding experience, and benefits open enrollment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience, including hands-on benefits and HRIS exposure.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience with ADP or a comparable HRIS; exposure to a system implementation or migration is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal ramp-up time and manage competing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with discretion and sound judgment handling confidential information.
• Prior contract or interim HR experience preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred; PHR or SHRM-CP a plus.

Responsibilities

• HR Operations & Administration: Serve as primary contact for employees and managers on day-to-day HR questions; maintain records; process lifecycle transactions; support compliance with employment laws.
• Onboarding & Offboarding: Coordinate onboarding, identify friction points, implement improvements, coordinate offboarding logistics.
• Benefits & HRIS Support: Support benefits administration, ADP HRIS reimplementation, data audits with payroll/vendors, Open Enrollment communications.
• Employee Relations & Projects: Provide guidance on employee relations; support policy updates and SOP documentation; prepare handoff notes.
