Job summary

V-Soft Consulting Group is hiring for a Contract Hardware Engineer Mid in San Jose, CA to work on ASIC/SDC development and integration. You will help promote block SDCs to full-chip and ensure SDC correctness early in the design cycle.

Experience with RTL design at block or IP level is optional. The role uses constraint analysis tools such as TCM, CCD, and Spyglass CDC, with emphasis on glitch analysis and validation. Competitive benefits and exposure to leading clients are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 7+ years ASIC experience or Master's with 5+ years ASIC experience.
• Experience with block/full chip SDC development in functional and test modes.
• Knowledge of constraint analysis and glitch analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist block level RTL design or block/top-level IP integration as needed.
• Help develop methodology to promote block SDCs to full-chip and feed changes back to block level.
• Help ensure SDC correctness and quality early in the design cycle.

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Contract Hardware Engineer Mid for our premier client in Sanjose, CA.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 7+ years of ASIC or related experience or Master's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of ASIC or related experience
• Experience with block/full chip SDC development in functional and test modes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with constraint analyzer tools such as TCM (Timing Constraint Manager from Synopsys) and CCD (Conformal Constraint Designer from Cadence)
• Experience with Spyglass CDC and glitch analysis

What You’ll Do

• Option to also do block level RTL design or block or top-level IP integration.
• Helping develop efficient methodology to promote block level SDCs to fullchip, and to bring fullchip SDC changes back to block level.
• Helping develop and apply methodology to ensure correctness and quality of SDCs as early as possible in design cycle.
