Job summary

Talentify is recruiting for a Phlebotomist - Floater in Rocky Mount, VA. This contract position runs 6 months, onsite with flexibility, and pays between $21.93 and $23.50 per hour (USD).

Shift is 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST, with potential for travel to multiple locations and on-site phlebotomy duties. The PSR III Floater represents the company to patients, draws blood samples, and prepares specimens for testing while adhering to procedures and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training in medical assistant or paramedic is preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred and required in CA, NV, WA.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood samples from patients and prepare them for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain a safe, professional environment.
• Perform verification of patient demographics and labeling post-venipuncture.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and process-excellence focus.
• Travel to multiple locations and support various patient service sites.
