Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist III - Floater for Roanoke, VA, with a 6+ month assignment. You will draw blood, prepare specimens, and ensure accurate labeling and documentation across doctor offices and patient service centers.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years phlebotomy experience including pediatric and geriatric collections, and phlebotomy certification where applicable. You will maintain confidentiality and provide exceptional patient care while adapting to multiple

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Verify patient demographics and labeling accuracy post-venipuncture.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Provide compassionate patient interactions and maintain confidentiality.
• May be assigned to doctor’s offices or patient service centers as needed.
