Job summary

Talentify's Rocky Mount, VA team seeks a Phlebotomist III – Floater to support our Medical Research client. You will draw quality blood samples, prep specimens for lab testing, and clearly explain procedures to patients to foster trust and safety.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 3–5 years phlebotomy experience (PSC/IOP preferred) and phlebotomy certification is a plus. Benefits include health coverage, referral program, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Minimum 3 years in a PSC/IOP environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service setting preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.
• Credentials/licenses must show high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Represents the face of the company to patients and supports care as part of health routines or insights.
• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing following procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and draw blood accurately, with trust and safety.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and confidentiality.
• Under supervision, perform daily activities accurately, maintain a safe environment, and keep records.
