Job summary

MIRACORP is seeking a Contract Facility Manager to oversee daily operations, inspections, and project activities across federal facilities. You will ensure compliance with property management standards and coordinate with tenants and contractors on-site.

The role emphasizes knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, safety, and project support. Candidates should have 5+ years in the field and the ability to perform physical inspections with PPE.

Qualifications

• >5+ years of commercial property management experience.
• >Demonstrated working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
• >Bachelor's degree in a related field or 10 years of relevant experience.
• >Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• >Knowledge of building codes and stakeholder coordination.
• >Ability to perform physical inspections and obtain HSPD-12 clearance.
• >Proficiency in Google Suite; familiarity with GSA systems preferred.
• >Resume must include at least three relevant commercial or federal properties/projects, highlighting scope of building systems involved.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and manage commercial or federally owned/leased facilities for compliance with standards.
• Conduct inspections of building systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire alarm, controls); document findings.
• Support construction/repair projects with cost estimates, scopes of work, and progress monitoring.
• Act as on-site representative during construction; enforce safety and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Prepare inspection reports, draft correspondence, and maintain documentation.
• Manage tenant relationships and support space modifications for satisfaction.
• Monitor operations, costs, and asset conditions to preserve facilities.
• Perform physical inspections of roofs, mechanical/electrical rooms, with PPE.
• Attend meetings and represent ownership/agency interests.
