Job summary

Oscar Health is hiring a Contract Executive Recruiter to own and execute executive-level searches within our Talent Acquisition team. The role reports to the Senior Director, Executive Recruiting and is based in our New York office with a hybrid schedule.

We require 6+ years in executive recruiting, 3+ years leading VP+ level searches, and strong data-driven decision making and stakeholder management. The position pays $65–$85 per hour with full-time benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience within Executive Recruiting.
• 3+ years leading VP+ level searches.
• 1+ years of project management experience; ability to follow-through on goals, plans and projects.
• 1+ years experience building and executing staffing strategies.
• 1+ years experience pulling insights from data to advise hiring leaders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-life cycle executive searches across designated functions.
• Calibrate candidates with hiring managers.
• Develop prospects into candidates with initial assessments (Pitch Calls).
• Participate in client update meetings and prepare reports.
• Conduct on-site interviews and debriefs; perform reference checks and negotiate executive compensation.
• Support the Senior Director, Executive Recruiting on searches.
• Develop search strategies, conduct research, and present qualified candidates.
