Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Plant Systems Engineering team. You will develop design requirements for BOS electrical and I&C systems and provide oversight to design partners on project designs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, plan work, and support project scope for a 40 hour/week contract through 2027, with remote work within the contiguous United States.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college.
• Active PE license desirable but not required.
• 5+ years of relevant full-time experience; nuclear/industrial is preferred.
• Experience with AC power systems across low/medium/high voltage.
• Knowledge of NRC regulations and applicable industry codes.
• Experience coordinating with contractors, suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop design requirements for BOS electrical and I&C systems.
• Provide oversight to design partners on BOS system designs.
• Review technical documents to support project work.
• Plan, organize and perform assignments in a team environment.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to coordinate design activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
