Job summary

Sotheby’s in New York seeks a Temporary Duty Drawback Coordinator to support high-volume duty drawback and tariff recovery activities. You will file individual drawback claims for international shipments, manage related email correspondence, and maintain accurate documentation and tracking records.

This 3-month in-office contract is about 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in account reconciliation or transactional research, experience with SAP, and strong Excel skills to

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in account reconciliation, audit support, billing reviews, or transactional research.
• Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong Excel skills for filtering, sorting, and analyzing large datasets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Review Item IDs for international shipments and identify duty drawback opportunities.
• Prepare and submit individual duty drawback requests and manage related emails.
• Track claim status and maintain accurate records across multiple systems.
• Reconcile tariff funds and validate findings with Finance, Shipping, and Client Experience.
