Job summary

Net Power, Houston, TX, seeks a Document Control & Configuration Management Specialist on a contract basis to own end-to-end flow of engineering and construction data across Windchill PLM and CMS platforms. The role bridges internal engineering with external EPC, vendors, and construction partners, ensuring versioned drawings, submittals, and changes are properly controlled; CMII/CM2 standards apply.

This is a contract role with potential to convert to direct hire, based at the Houston Energy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, construction management, information management, or related field.
• 5–7 years in document control, configuration/change management, or PLM administration on capital projects.
• Experience with Windchill and external CMS like Aconex or Procore is preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO, CMII/CM2 standards and ECR/ECO/ECN processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer PLM–CMS data bridge ensuring controlled documents and BOMs are published and tracked.
• Manage full document lifecycle from intake to archiving for engineering and construction
• Own Master Deliverables Register and Vendor Document Requirements List with live revision/status updates
• Manage transmittals, submittals, RFIs, and correspondence in Aconex/Procore per project workflows
• Serve as liaison between engineering, procurement, project management, vendors, EPC partners, and contractors
• Govern configuration/change control in Windchill per CMII/CM2 standards and communicate changes to stakeholders
