Job summary

Talentify is seeking an experienced Business Analyst (Contractor) to join our Product team and serve as a subject matter expert in dealership operations and Dealer Management Systems (DMS). This role collaborates with Product Management, dealers, and an external software partner to evaluate solutions and validate requirements.

Unlike a traditional BA, this position focuses on reviewing vendor deliverables for alignment with business goals, workflows, and user expectations.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience with a Dealer Management System (DMS).
Direct experience with powersports or automotive dealerships.
Strong understanding of dealership operations and business processes.
Experience with Agile environments and reviewing vendor deliverables.

Responsibilities

Validate business needs and proposed solutions with Product Management, dealers, stakeholders, and external partners.
Review and approve business requirements, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and vendor artifacts.
Evaluate proposed functionality for alignment with dealership processes and objectives; identify gaps and risks.
Challenge assumptions to address root business needs and ensure complete, testable requirements.
Participate in dealer discovery sessions, product reviews, and feedback meetings; act as the voice of the dealer.
Build consensus among stakeholders with varying priorities and perspectives.
