Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator 2 (Distribution) for a two-year contract in Calera, AL. The role involves coordinating distribution projects, managing schedules, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 5–10 years of project coordination experience, preferably in utilities or energy, and strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in utility or energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop project plans, timelines, and objectives for distribution projects.
• Serve as a central point of contact for project teams, coordinating activities and tasks, and ensuring milestones are met.
• Allocate and monitor resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust as needed to keep projects on track.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and change records.
• Generate regular status reports highlighting progress, issues, and risks.
• Facilitate communication among project team members and stakeholders.
• Assist in procurement processes, including sourcing materials and vendor relations.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Assist in change management and approvals for scope changes.
