Job summary

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking an experienced Construction Analyst for a contract assignment in Birmingham, AL. The analyst will provide advanced analytical support, manage project budgets, and generate reports and dashboards to communicate KPIs and progress.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, strong Excel skills, and experience in construction project management or administration. CAMP/JETS and utility-related experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; CAMP/JETS/utility experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced analytical support to the construction team through data collection, reporting, and performance tracking.
• Lead budgeting, cost estimation, tracking, and variance analysis for projects.
• Collect, organize, and analyze data on progress, expenses, and resource allocation.
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate project status and KPIs.
• Coordinate project meetings, document discussions, and follow-up actions.
• Evaluate vendor/contractor performance and support procurement decisions.
