Akkodis is seeking a Construction Project Manager for a contract role in Schenectady, New York. The candidate will manage complex construction projects from planning through execution, collaborating with vendors, facilities teams, EHS, sourcing, and finance partners.

The right individual has proven experience in construction project management, strong cost control and budget skills, and the ability to drive multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction, facilities infrastructure, renovation, and capital improvement projects.
• Strong cost control, forecasting, and budget management.
• Ability to lead schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
• Experience with vendor and contractor management.
• Experience working with unions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Work on construction, facilities infrastructure, renovation, and capital improvement projects.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, facilities teams, EHS, sourcing, and finance partners.
• Lead project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
• Construction Project Management experience is required.
• Vendor and contractor management experience.
• Strong cost control, forecasting, and budget management skills.
• Schedule development and tracking using Smartsheet.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and action items.
• Knowledge of facilities infrastructure and capital project execution.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects with minimal oversight.
