Job summary

Trio Workforce Solutions is seeking a Credentialing Administrator in Frisco, TX for a 13-week contract (1099). The role schedules ~40 hours/week at $26/hour, focusing on leading credentialing and re-credentialing processes across healthcare providers.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 1–2 years in credentialing or compliance, with strong attention to detail and MS Office proficiency. Familiarity with VMS systems and credentialing platforms is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Experience in high-volume administrative or compliance environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple systems including VMS and credentialing platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, monitor, and maintain the credentialing and re-credentialing process.
  • Ensure interpretation and compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain set production and quality standards.
  • Verify that all submitted credentials are current and complete.
  • Verify all credentials, including license and applicable certifications.

Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities

Principal Responsibilities
  • Responsible for leading, monitoring, and maintaining the credentialing and re-credentialing process.
  • Ensures interpretation and compliance with the appropriate accrediting and regulatory agencies.
  • Maintains set production and quality standards
  • Verifies that all submitted credentials are current and complete
  • Verifies all credentials, including license and applicable certifications
  • Maintains accurate records of all files in Trio VMS
  • Communicates applicable updates and notices to agencies
  • Monitors expiration dates of credentials and COI
  • Maintains privacy and confidentiality (intentional or unintentional) of company and employee information in verbal, written, and electronic form. Limits access to all information to job-related on a need-to-know basis.
  • Notifies respective senior managers of problem-causing trends with vendors on items needing attention
  • Use independent judgment to manage and impart confidential information.
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Required 1-2 years of experience in credentialing, onboarding, compliance, or staffing operations.
  • Experience working in high-volume administrative or compliance environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple systems including VMS, and credentialing platforms.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
  • Experience working with MSP clients and VMS technology.
  • Experience credentialing locums providers with healthcare facilities, communicating with CVO, MSO, and Provider Enrollment teams.
