As a Business Development Representative, your main responsibility will be to identify and initiate contact with potential clients through cold calling, email outreach, and follow-ups. You will play a crucial role in filling the sales pipeline with qualified leads and setting up meetings for our senior sales and account team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential clients in target markets and industries
  • Perform high-volume cold calling and personalized email outreach to generate interest
  • Qualify leads and schedule discovery calls or meetings with senior sales staff
  • Maintain accurate records of all outreach and interactions in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align messaging and improve outreach strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, agency offerings, and competitor activity
  • Meet or exceed weekly/monthly KPIs (calls, emails, meetings booked, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or lead generation (preferably in advertising, media, or marketing)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable making cold calls and handling objections
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably Hubspot)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enthusiasm for advertising, creative work, and client success

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working at or with advertising/marketing agencies
  • Understanding of digital advertising channels (social media, paid search, etc.)
  • A track record of exceeding sales targets or KPI
