Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support middle school students in Laurens, South Carolina. This contract-based opportunity offers either full-time or part-time schedules for the remainder of the school year, with a focus on improving students’ speech and language skills and overall academic growth.

The role requires CCC from ASHA, state licensure as an SLP, and a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology. Collaboration with educators and families is essential to student success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Current state licensure as an SLP.
• CCC from ASHA (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required.
• Experience providing school-based speech therapy is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with educators, staff, and families.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Commitment to supporting diverse middle school learners.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in middle school students.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote academic success.
• Participate in IEP meetings, student progress reviews, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress.
• Provide consultative support and training to staff regarding communication strategies.
• Help foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
