Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support elementary students in South Carolina. This contract role offers 20-25 hours per week in a close-knit school community.

Ideal candidates hold a South Carolina SLP/SLPA license with the state's educator certification and are comfortable working with K-5 students to meet IEP goals and district guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active SLP or SLPA license issued by the state of South Carolina.
• Current SLP educator certification in South Carolina.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.
• Solid understanding of speech and language development in early childhood.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable managing a diverse elementary (K-5) caseload.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-5 students, fulfilling IEP goals and district guidelines.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to ensure holistic student support.
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation required by the district.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education program plans.
• Develop engaging, evidence-based activities tailored to students' needs.
• Adapt intervention strategies and monitor student progress.
