Job summary

The Friedkin Group is seeking a contractor Technical Service Specialist to adjust and process auto claims in Houston, TX. You will verify eligibility, determine coverage, and coordinate with service teams to finalize costs, parts, and reimbursements. This role requires ASE certifications and a valid adjuster license.

As a contractor, you will handle inquiries, ensure compliance with company guidelines, and work independently with support from the team to resolve claim details.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications in at least four areas preferred.
• 1–3 years of claims adjusting experience required.
• Adjuster license required.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Adjust/process auto claims from dealers, repair facilities, and customers.
• Verify agreement or application numbers and determine if a claim is covered for time and mileage.
• Register verified claims in the database and review vehicle history for red flags.
• Discuss breakdown with customer and/or service department; agree on labor time, costs, parts, and reimbursements.
• Authorize the claim and assign a claim number after calculating total costs and taxes.
• Answer dealer and customer questions about coverage, benefits, maintenance requirements, and denials.
