Job summary

AlphaStaffHCM is seeking an Auto Adjuster- Non Injury for our client in San Antonio, Texas. This role handles moderately complex auto claims from intake through settlement, in compliance with state laws, while delivering exceptional service and clear communication to policyholders.

The position features a hybrid work arrangement after an initial on-site period, with five days per week on site during the first six months, and relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Experience handling low complexity auto non-injury liability claims.
• Insurance adjuster license required within 90 days and 3 attempts.
• Understanding of auto claims contracts and state regulations.
• Strong negotiation, investigation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to multi-task and navigate multiple business applications.

Responsibilities

• Investigate liability, evaluate coverage, and settle moderately complex auto claims.
• Negotiate liability for comparative negligence.
• Identify coverage concerns and refer SIU when needed.
• Gather information from police reports, statements, and witnesses.
• Document damage evaluation, investigations, and settlement decisions clearly.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve claims promptly.
