Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Contract Attorney I in Lake Forest, CA to review RFx and contracts, conduct regulatory research, and prepare business-facing summaries on SaaS, AI, data privacy, and procurement issues.

You will support contract reviews by identifying obligations, draft legal-approved clauses, and collaborate with Legal, Sales, Finance, IT/Security, and Operations to enable compliant deal execution.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar membership required; California preferred.
• Experience applying legal training to business-facing contract support.
• Ability to identify mandatory terms, flow-downs and compliance obligations.
• Experience drafting and maintaining legal-approved standard clauses and templates.

Responsibilities

• Review RFx, contracts and security questionnaires or related documents.
• Conduct legal/regulatory research and prepare concise business-facing summaries.
• Support contract review by identifying obligations and flag issues for stakeholders.
• Draft, organize and maintain standard clauses, templates and playbooks.
• Collaborate with Legal, Sales, Finance, IT/Security, Operations and BPCC teams.
• Monitor requirements and improve contract frameworks, controls and documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
