Job summary

Toshiba America, Inc. seeks a highly organized Paralegal to support the in-house Legal team across contracts, compliance, corporate governance, and litigation support. This role partners with attorneys and business stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate legal services.

You will manage records, assist with licensing filings, and help drive process improvements in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Experience supporting contracts, compliance, and/or litigation matters.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SharePoint experience preferred.
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat and LexisNexis.

Responsibilities

• Provide paralegal support across contracts, compliance, governance, IP, and licensing.
• Prepare, proofread, and assemble legal documents and discovery materials.
• Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings for attorneys.
• Maintain filing systems and document management in accordance with company policies.
• Coordinate licensing, registrations, and governance filings by tracking deadlines.
• Support audits, reporting, and process improvements within the legal team.
• Provide administrative support including scheduling and invoicing assistance.
