Job summary

Nintendo Co., Ltd. is a leading creator of interactive entertainment. Nintendo Technology Development, a wholly owned subsidiary based in Redmond, Washington, develops future hardware/software technology for North American-based systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement audio system software.
  • Characterize, analyze, organize, and present detailed performance metrics of features at a large scale.
  • Optimize, maintain, validate, and diagnose failures in existing and new systems.
Requirements
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Coursework or foundational knowledge in digital signal processing (DSP).
  • Experience with real-time embedded and cross-platform development.
  • 3 or more years of professional experience with C/C++ programming.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Requirements
  • Knowledge of DSP architectures (e.g., Hifi, Hexagon, ARM SIMD).
  • Experience with acoustic and audio signal processing algorithms.
  • Familiarity with audio peripherals and interfaces (e.g., I2S, TDM, PDM, DMA).
