Apex Systems is seeking a Contract and System Analyst to manage supplier data and implementation programs remotely. This role requires expertise in contract management, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with category managers. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with potential contract extensions.
Position Title: Contract and System Analyst
Location: Remote
Contract Length: Through May 2026
What will I be doing?
As Contract and System Analyst, Category Management, you will manage supplier data upkeep and program implementation through Salesforce, Smart Spend and EcoVadis. The duration of the contract is 12 months with potential for extension. You will work closely with all category managers in F&B OS&E and Property Ops and report to the Senior Manager, F&B Category Management.
More specifically, you will:
•Work independently in key areas of data management, supplier management, compliance, and reporting.
•Connect with suppliers and onboard through multiple programs. Coupa, Risk Assessment and Eco Vadis
•Develop and use intake form, draft contract templates specific to the supplier type, hand off the initial contract to Category Manager for negotiation and execution.
•Maintain Coupa data and roll it up into Salesforce.
•Supplier contact updates in Salesforce
•Cross train with other departments, shadow those for weeks at a time
•Deviated Pricing contract maintenance and updates
•Other duties as assigned in support of other HSM departments
What are we looking for?
The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:
•Dedicated self-starter, who takes initiative with minimal direction and understands concepts quickly
•Solid contract management expertise, familiarity with legal and business terms, and attention to detail
•Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams as well as externally with suppliers and industry partners
•Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to present information to stakeholders in a concise, well-organized manner at the appropriate level of detail for target audience
•Strong negotiation skills and strategic business experience
•Excellent critical thinking, combined with quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
•Two (2) years of system analyst experience
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Communications, or a related field
•Experience using Coupa and Salesforce software
•Hospitality/hotel industry experience
