Position: Procurement Contracting Analyst and Negotiator

This role supports all Procurement category teams by facilitating, drafting, and negotiating agreements with suppliers and service providers working with HCSC. The Contracting Analyst and Negotiator maintains positive relationships with internal stakeholders and expedites contract negotiations in HCSC's best interest.

Required Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of experience in drafting and negotiating various contracts, including business arrangements, professional and consulting services, outsourcing, legal regulatory contracts, data sharing, software licenses, and statements of work or order forms.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, and communication skills.
  • Highly organized team player with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple negotiations while meeting deadlines.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor degree or experience in legal, contract management, or as a paralegal.
  • Experience reviewing and drafting contractual terms for master agreements, sub-agreements, NDAs, evaluation agreements, and contract addendums, especially those required by regulations.
  • Knowledge of procurement, contract administration, strategic sourcing, and negotiation systems.
  • Experience negotiating agreements in the healthcare sector subject to regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with automated contract management and electronic signature systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and facilitate discussions during negotiations to resolve issues.

This role requires working in the office 3 days per week, with flexibility to work from home 2 days.

Compensation:

$82,700.00 - $149,300.00, depending on skills, experience, and location.
