Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) seeks a Contract Administrator II to manage procurement from inception to close-out for a range of goods and services. You will negotiate contract terms, prepare documentation, and work with internal customers to ensure timely solicitations and successful awards.

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field; or equivalent four-year experience with proposals and contracts.
• Minimum five years of experience in developing and administering RFPs/quotations, specifications, scope of work, and various contracts.
• Certification from NCMA/CPCM/NIGP/FAI/DAU/DAWIA must be obtained within two years of hire.
• Procurement knowledge including bid processes, contract preparation and price analysis.
• Strong negotiation and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the full contract life cycle from proposal to close-out for assigned contracts.
• Plan the entire procurement process from receipt of procurement requests through solicitation, negotiation, award, administration and close-out.
• Lead the award process including documentation, bid/ proposal evaluation, and Board of Directors approvals.
• Advise customers on contract pricing, type selections, and source selection plans.
• Mentor junior Contract Administrators in procurement actions and activities.
