GHEMM Company, LLC is seeking a Contract Administrator for the Fairbanks, Alaska office to support field construction activities and project management teams.

You will maintain project documents, logs, and minutes, and ensure timely distribution of information. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interact professionally with staff and the public. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; business administration or related degree preferable.
  • Three (3) years of related administrative, professional and/or office experience; construction industry experience preferable.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

  • Support field construction activities and field project management staff.
  • Maintain all project related documents and communication flow of the construction team; attend and prepare minutes for all project meetings.
  • Create and maintain document logs and update regularly; upload documentation to cloud-based document management systems.
  • Use computer word processing, spreadsheet and database software to prepare documents and reports.
  • Interact with the general public as required and direct callers and visitors to correct personnel.
  • Provide support to time entry, AR, and AP team.
  • Attend and participate in required meetings, trainings, and exercises.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality; represent the company with courtesy and discretion.

GHEMM Company, LLC is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of Contract Administrator supporting the Fairbanks, Alaska office.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

  • Support field construction activities and field project management staff;
  • Maintain all project related documents and communication flow of the construction team; attend and prepare minutes for all project meetings;
  • Create and maintain document logs and update regularly; upload documentation to cloud-based document management systems;
  • Use computer word processing, spreadsheet and database software to prepare documents and reports;
  • Other duties as requested by project staff;
  • Interact with the general public as required, answer inquires by phone and in person and direct callers and visitors to correct personnel based on needs;
  • Provide support to time entry, AR, and AP team;
  • Attend and participate in required meetings, trainings, and exercises;
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality;
  • Serve as a representative of the company, displaying courtesy, consideration, and discretion in all interactions.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent judgement, integrity, work ethic, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with little direction on assigned tasks, as well as to accept direction on given tasks
  • Good interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral – email, phone, face to face
  • Works closely with project managers on project set up and management. Excellent interpersonal communication skills with an ability to establish and maintain effective relationships
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft programs and construction document management software

Requirements

Qualifications:
